ALB Sur-Mesure Level I: Creation of the “Black” Watch

The "Black" custom watch , presented by ALB, was born from a client's desire to have a personalized watch for his wedding.

The Project

The client, a watchmaking enthusiast, wanted a watch with a classic design and a beautiful mechanism visible from the front of the watch. The goal was to create a model that combined elegance and technical aesthetics.

Working with the Client

To realize his project within the budget, we offered him to select components from our catalog, which includes mechanisms and parts available on the market. The client opted for the following elements: a fully skeletonized Swiss ETA 6498 movement, a high-end German 316L steel case with sapphire crystal on the front and back, olive leaf hands, a leather strap and a Swiss folding clasp. All presented in a luxury black lacquered wooden box.

Manufacturing Time

The design of this custom watch took two months , from the initial contact to the delivery of the watch.

The "Black" watch combines elegance and technicality. The absence of a dial allows you to see the oscillations of the balance wheel, the true beating heart of this precision mechanism.
